PMS training workshop

... where we make learning fun!

At our in-house training workshop, we focus on key areas to prepare our apprentices for working at our customers’ sites and for manufacturing switch cabinets – all in a positive, friendly atmosphere. Marco, our Apprentice Instructor, loves nothing more than guiding young people through every step of their apprenticeship, and he is particularly committed to addressing the needs of each individual.

“For me, it’s important to give these young people the support they need to become aware of their own responsibilities. With my approach – a blend of encouraging independence, helping them solve problems, and controlled interventions every now and then – I try to help our apprentices navigate the tricky path to becoming specialists.”

Marco Woschank, Apprentice Instructor

Our new training workshop, opened last year, is made up of two areas:

Presentation room

Our presentation room features state-of-the-art multimedia equipment and is the ideal place for our apprentices to study theory units and learn in an atmosphere where they feel comfortable.

Workspace

The workspace is where apprentices can practise working in “lab conditions” and develop and try out various systems. We have ensured that it has all the state-of-the-art equipment these young people need, including sophisticated work benches which can be height-adjusted, so that they can conduct practical work in comfort, and which have various power supplies so that a wide range of electrical engineering exercises can be carried out.
