Ramona loves interacting with people. Alongside her colleague Sabrina, she’s responsible for everything in the office from distributing post to handling cash and is constantly in communication with colleagues, customers and visitors.

Ramona enjoys getting insights into how PMS works every day and relishes the chance to take on more responsibility, even as an apprentice.

What will you learn?

  • Handle incoming and outgoing post and emails
  • Produce texts and other documents in the correct form according to the specifications
  • Procure and manage supplies (such as documents, office materials and office furniture)
  • Handle payment transactions
  • Communicate with and look after customers
  • Complete admin tasks using the business IT and communications systems
  • Help with business and cost accounting
  • Create, maintain and analyse statistics, files and card indexes

Apprenticeship duration & training college

The administrative assistant apprenticeship takes 3 years.
 

ST. VEIT AN DER GLAN TECHNICAL COLLEGE

3 blocks of 8 or 9 weeks each.
Accommodation is available at the apprentice hostel, and we will cover the costs for you.

Applications

Applications for an apprenticeship should be submitted as early as possible before the end of the winter semester. Acceptance examinations always take place early in the year, usually around February. So don’t delay – apply today to secure your place in the acceptance process.

    - A high-quality, recognisable photo will enhance your application.
    - Mentioning specific practical experience and taster days will help us discuss your preferred professional path with you.
     
  • Up-to-date school certificates, including leaving certificate from 9th school year (usually age 14-15)
