...at the PMS Technology Centre

In autumn 2021 we begin the second of our “Systems Engineering” degree courses combining study and professional training at the Villach Campus and at the PMS site in St. Stefan, in the Lavanttal valley.

As part of the “Extended Study” programme, classes are livestreamed from the Villach Campus to the PMS site, so that students only have to travel to Villach for some of their classes.

Since autumn 2019, students in the Lavanttal region have had the opportunity to follow a degree programme which combines professional training with their studies. With PMS as their partner, the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences now offers “Extended Study” programmes for the “Systems Engineering”, “Mechanical Engineering” and “Industrial Engineering” courses.  

Extended means:

• selected classes take place at the university’s Villach Campus alongside the cohort of “regular” vocational students
• selected classes take place at the PMS Lavanttal Technology Centre, led by lecturers from the university
• selected classes or course components are livestreamed from Villach to the training areas provided at PMS
